A Rigorous Evaluation Process

The selection process for the “Best Places to Work,” which is conducted in partnership with Workforce Research Group, is meticulously designed to identify and honor organizations that excel in creating exceptional workplaces. The evaluation is conducted in two parts, with the first focusing on our workplace policies, practices and demographics. This initial phase accounts for 20% of the total evaluation.

The second and more significant part of the assessment, making up 80% of the evaluation, involves a comprehensive survey that is completed by each nominated company’s employees. This survey measures various aspects of the employee experience, from job satisfaction and work-life balance to leadership and company culture.

Meeting the Mark

To qualify for consideration, each company needed to have a substantial presence locally, with at least 15 full-time or part-time permanent employees in Orange County. Each company had to be operational for at least a year by the registration deadline and needed to show financial stability as either a public or private entity engaged in for-profit, non-profit or governmental operations.
