To go along with my last blog post about a free and secure way to share passwords, our sales and marketing director quickly recorded a ‘how-to’ video we wanted to embed within the article.
He got a little blowback from friends on LinkedIn about the poor lighting, but this happened because he recorded it in a rush as a last-minute idea we wanted to include.
Lighting aside, a couple of his contacts also asked him how he captured a simultaneous recording of both his screen and of him speaking, his face minimized in the corner so his screen could be seen. For easy reference, check out the video below from our YouTube channel:
The answer to “how” is stunningly simple: Microsoft Stream.
Where does one find Microsoft Stream? In your existing Office account – it’s one of the many apps that already lives within all Microsoft 365 Business subscriptions!
Rather than a long how-to explanation about using Stream, which is incredibly simple to use, here’s a solid how-to video I found on YouTube:
…but you’ll hardly need that video tutorial, that’s how easy Stream is to use.
Finding Stream in your account, by the way, is also simple. Just visit www.office.com, log in, and then you’ll see a list of choices on the left-hand menu. Click “Apps” and voila – you’re there!
Last year, we did a month-long campaign about all the hidden gems that already live within your Office 365 account, along with a downloadable pdf with a full list of tools like Stream. That pdf rundown is still pretty useful.
Interested in your own free copy of that handy little reference guide?
… and let us know if making use of Stream was as easy for you as it was for us!
